It is impossible to communicate with ebay about my problem bc none of the online options allow me to proceed far enough to explain it. I somehow in the beginning was able to speak to a real live person about a refund. But another problem has developed since- that being: ebay has told me to return the item to the seller, but now seller says he has no record of my purchase (I bought it as a guest rather than under an account I created some time ago). I asked the seller if he had all the information he needed to process my refund and got no answer. I obviously am not going to return to the seller anything he says he has no record of. I have never seen anything like this. I saved the ebay number I called in the beginning but it now recognizes my number and gives me a msg that a return was already started and directs me to go online. And there is no avenue online to proceed for this problem. I have never seen such a total absence of Customer Service. I could never ever deal with this site again. Does anybody have a telephone number to actually reach ebay?

If a return has been started, do what it says in the return.
Is there a return shipping label available in the return?
There isn't a phone number to call, but you can have them call you back.
You can request to have CS call you back at the link below.

The eBay account you are using to post was created in August of this year.
Guest purchases are not associated with any of your eBay accounts.
To deal with a guest purchase, sign out of your eBay account and use the email your received from eBay about the purchase to proceed.

I did purchase the item under a guest account. When I made the only phone call in which I was actually able to explain my issue with a person, they had me put an email on the account that I purchased the item with, that was different from my original account. So when you say"Guest Purchases are not associated with my ebay accounts," that may be the case NOW that ebay had me add a different email. But when I purchased the item, it WAS under a guest account. Your response adds nothing to the solution - just complicates an already complicated situation. My question sought a telephone number for ebay where I could actually speak with someone.
