Received multiple message from diff account than buyer saying to ship elsewhere

I sold an item, and the buyer has not yet paid. However, in the mean time, I've gotten two messages, from two different accounts than the buyer, saying that they just bought an item from me and to ship it to a different address (with an image containing the address). The buyer's account did message me separately and say they'd be paying on Monday. One of the accounts that sent this seems to no longer be a registered account (when I click on the account name in the message it says it's no longer registered).

I believe that these other two messages (from the non-buyer account) are scams, trying to get me to ship the item to them/somewhere else, and not to the actual buyer. I plan to ignore those messages, since they are not from the buyer's account, but is there somewhere I can report those, as they do seem fraudulent? Any other advice around these?

Received multiple message from diff account than buyer saying to ship elsewhere

Hi @chrisrbailey

If the accounts say "no longer registered," eBay knows about the scam and their accounts have been closed by eBay.

As you already know, you should only communicate with the buyer ID who made the purchase. As for accommodating  legitimate address change requests, you would need to cancel the transaction and relist so the buyer can repurchase with the correct address.

Yup, I knew it was an Apple product .

You will only ship to the address that comes with the payment.

All others are thieves
