Received a fake ring

I purchased a gold ring listed as “solid 14 karat gold” but when I got around to taking it to a local jeweler to be sized, I learned it is only gold plated. All the stones in it are not as described either. Unfortunately, it’s now past the return window because I took a long time before taking it for sizing. 

What is my best recourse now? Of course all my attempts to contact the seller are promptly ignored.

The only option you now have is to take it up with your payment source.

Did you use a credit card or Paypal?  Perhaps they can be of assistance.

Yes, I paid with a credit card. I may go that route. Thanks for responding.
