We had a customer who had placed an order with us on February 12, 2021. After making three claims with the post office as to the whereabouts of the packages, they finally said that the packages were lost which means the customer never received their orders. Since these orders are over 45 days (Ebay only archives up to 3-months of orders), is there a way we can send a refund to the customer through Ebay?
You can issue a refund a an order paid through managed payments for 90 days, but 2/12 is more than 90 days ago. You missed the cutoff by a few days.
The only way to refund the buyer now would be to get his email address and use paypal's send money. It is OK to exchange contact info, since you have a transaction together.
