Didn't receive the Total Purchase

I bought a set of 8 pathway lights and only received 7.  In addition, one of the glass globes appeared dirty, as did the solar panel on the top...it didn't have the plastic protective cover over it either.  Last, the stake for the 7th lantern wasn't designed for the light, so it won't fit.  The box the lights came in looked like it was used.  I wrote the company and they said they were out of stock so the offered me a 50% refund, which seems fair, however, I'm disturbed that I only got 7 lights, not the 8 I ordered.   How would anyone recommend I proceed?  Just take the 50% and let it go?  I also don't know if all the lanterns work yet, as they haven't charged for a full day.  I know that'll make a difference in proceeding.  Any guidance would be helpful.

Finishing testing the lights.   If you want to return them do not accept the partial payment, but open an Item Not as Described dispute in the Resolution Center and seller will pay the return shipping, if they want them back before refunding.

 

I think if the 7 all work.  I think I would take the 50% refund, as you'd have to look elsewhere anyway, if they don't have any more to send you.
