ANY ONE ELSE FRUSTRATED WITH TRYING TO GET A DEFECT REMOVED? I HAVE BEEN AN ACTIVE EBAY MEMBER FOR OVER 20 YEARS AND ADMIT I PICKED A WRONG CHOICE OF CANCELATION i REQUESTED A CHANGE OF 2 ITEMS WHO WERE CANCELLED FOR ITEMS I ACKNOWLEDGE I MADE A MISTAKE. THE ONLY PERSON THIS AFFECTED WAS ME. THE BUYERS UNDERSTOOD AND AGREED TO THE ACTION. THE REPLY I RECEIVED WAS A FULL PAGE REPLLY OF HOW DUMB I COULD BE. I TAKE MY TOP RATING SERIOUS AND TO GET A REPLY LIKE THIS IS UNCALLED FOR.

Well...in eBay's estimation, it was called for. When we make mistakes, we get defects...eBay's thinking is that if we get defects for transactions we don't complete, we will be more careful. Cancellations disappoint buyers (yours may have been an exception) but they also disrupt the marketplace for other buyers and sellers.
