I recently bought a pallet of items, and while going through those items getting them ready to list, I came across a designer label item. Which would normally be great the only thing is that it can't be authenticated. I have been to 3 different authentication places and the answer all the same, they can't authenticated it as real or fake. Matter of fact the last shop I took it to said,"this is a really excellent fake or just something they have never seen." After hours of pooring throughout the designer's website I can only find things that vaguely resemble my item. I was wondering if I should list the item not as a designer brand but just as what it is i.e a shirt, or should I just take the loss on the item and throw it out?

It's illegal to sell counterfeits whether you disclose the designer's name or not. So don't list that item and risk harming your reputation as a reliable seller.
