Question about a security alert I received

Earlier this week I received an alert but I do not know who I contacted since I messaged a few sellers.  This is the opening paragraph of the email

It looks like you may have been in touch with and we want to let you know that some security concerns have come up with this account. We recommend taking some precautions to make sure your account stays secure.

So is there away to find out who I should not contact or is this something accidentally sent out?

Do you think eBay sent you that alert?

If you merely messaged sellers through eBay messages, and nothing more, there is no need to be alarmed. If eBay sent you a notice like that, you were probably communicating with a seller who included an email or texting address in the listing, and eBay would be concerned that you divulged personal information through those external channels. If you never took the bait to communicate or transact outside of eBay, then you should be fine.
