Promoting an item

If i paid for my item to be "promoted" wht do I only have 5 views in 7 days?

I have been promoting the majority of my listings since September, and many listings have no views at all.  The reason is that probably no one is searching for those items.  If anyone is searching for those keywords in your title, and the listing is promoted, your buyer will see the listing.  There is no guarantee that the buyer will click on your listing unless the buyer is enticed by the photos and price.
