Problems with eBay's Authenticity Guarantee program

I'll say first that I really do appreciate the program because it makes buyers feel more comfortable purchasing designer bags on eBay, and takes out the potential for a buyer to return a different or used item. That is all great.

8/10 times things go good with authenticity guarantee.  However, there are some "bad seed" authenticators at eBay. These types of people find pleasure in rejecting your item and I'm not talking about rejecting for something not being authentic.  They will find a little mark on your bag and take photos to make it look 10x worse, and describe it as sounding terrible to the buyer. This usually makes the buyer want to cancel without even seeing the bag in person. The newest thing is they told my buyer that the hardware on the bag was damaged because it had a light scratch.  Um, please do not tell someone something is damaged unless it is actually damaged, like broken. A little light scratch is fairly normal on a handbag.

This has only happened a handful of times but It is very upsetting to me as a seller since I make such an effort to show all angles of my bags. I'm sorry that I do not have super human sight.

Then when I finally resell the bag they sabotaged me on, the new buyer is usually super happy with it and say that it looks better than the photos.

It is so frusturating! Has anyone else had an experience like this?
