Problem with account location

My primary location is set as Ireland. However, when I list an item for sale, it keeps defaulting to US. It is impossible to calculate the shipping properly.

I've checked my addresses in my account and they all point to Ireland so I'm a bit confused why my account is still listed in the US and why shipping is calculated based on a US location.

Are you sure you are listing it on the Ireland Ebay site?

It appears you originally set up your account on ebay.com rather than ebay.ie:

You may have to contact eBay (in Ireland) in order to change your registration site to ebay.ie.

Shouldn't Seller Information on listings match the registration info on the Feedback page?

I believe the Feedback page reflects the current location used -- the user's registration mailing address.

The Seller Information following the "items for sale" link corresponds to the location of the site where the account was originally registered, so the "United States" on that page indicates that the account was originally registered on ebay.com, if I understand it correctly. I do not think I have ever seen a country shown there that did not have its own eBay site.
