Problem adding insurance to a USPS ground shipping label- what can I do now that I have paid for it

I purchased Ebay USPS ground shipping and was surprised when I was not given the option to add insurance.  I thought I could add at the post office but they no longer allow adding insurance to a prepaid label.  Has this happens to anyone else?  We’re you able to get a postage refund from EBay?

When you purchase a label, the option to add insurance is on the label creation page. You select the option before completing the purchase.

You cannot add insurance after the fact. If you haven't already shipped, you need to void the label and purchase a new one.

You can void a label within 5 days of purchase here:
https://www.ebay.com/ship/lmng/labels-history/my-ebay

It will take about 14-21 days for the refund to come through.

@furbikini   it's on the label form where you can add more insurance if you wish.  It comes with $100

You have to scroll down on the label form past the shipping methods.  It is under add Additional Options.  This is just a copy and paste from the label page because I didn't feel like doing a screen shot right now. LOL Your "From" price for insurance cost will be different since this is from a lower priced item.

Additional Options

Require Signature at delivery ($3.40)
Add additional liability coverage (from $1.70)
Display postage value on label
Add custom text on label
