Private identitie program

We are curious in why some bidders are in the We are curious in why some of you bidders are in the protections program and the others are not, on the same site/seller? We also will no longer bid on items that have private identities, as we have fear that its being used in other than its intent.We prefer to bid with other bidder and their identities, seeing the progress/frequency of the bidding. No disrespect to you, and we are bidders on several sites that subscribe to this feature, but have this concern on all that do it possibly this way. We tend not to bid when we see that in fear the the sellers are using that to generate/drive up the level of the sale price.

We hope some evidence/support to the feature, not falling to our fears, can be provided by the community, and eBay its self.
