Priority listing pay per click or the upgrade listing

Priority listing pay pre click , or upgrade percentage,   is it worth it , or is a sneaky way for eBay to gouge its sellers , by using the backdoor to make more on the to already too expensive eBay Fees?

Hi @el_rancho_costa_plenty

eBay's income is based on fees and advertising.  Anything over the standard Final Value Fees you pay in your categories is only beneficial to you if you can still sell for a price to meet your target profit and still cover all of eBay's fees.

@el_rancho_costa_plenty     I personally use promoted listing general campaign that way I do not pay a promotion fee unless the item sells.

There does come a point though where you're better off lowering the price of the item than just pay more to promote  IMHO.

Here's an overview of the 2 campaign options
