Prices charged for shipping

I need help setting up my listings with the correct shipping choices. I just sold an item to someone in Canada. The buyer was instructed to pay $2.22. I was charged $14.02 to ship it. I paid more for shipping than what the auction was for.

First you need to decide what countries you want to ship to or if just to Canada and whether you want to ship directly yourself or use ebay's International Shipping (EIS) program.

If just to Canada you can just add a Canadian shipping option, USPS being the cheapest as it has no brokerage fees.  Otherwise you can enable EIS in your Shipping Preferences, but you still need to ship to the USA shipping center either free or for a fee and let ebay add the additional international shipping fee to what ever country it is going to.
