I sent a package on the 26 of April.
It finally got to a main hub in buyers city on May 4th and since then when I check it status it still says it's at hub and "preparing for delivery".
8 days it's been preparing lol
So I contacted buyer and he said he was out of town but his parents told him that the package had arrived.
So I told him to make sure he verifies that it was received as soon as he could.
Haven't heard anything back nor has anyone opened a report on this or anything.
And until it's verified my funds are on hold.
It's getting a little frustrating....any suggestions on what to do next.
Thank you for any help anyone can provide regarding this situation.

This is a common USPS issue - tracking may get stuck on “Preparing for Delivery” even after the package is delivered.
Here’s what you can do:
Ask the buyer to confirm delivery in eBay messages
A simple reply like “Yes, I received the item” can help trigger an earlier release of funds. Also ask if they see an option on their order page to confirm delivery manually.
If your funds remain on hold after that, you can request eBay call back on this link :

Let them know the buyer confirmed receipt in messages and USPS tracking shows the package reached the destination hub. eBay can review your message thread as part of their support.
Contact USPS at 1-800-ASK-USPS (1-800-275-8777)
Provide the tracking number and ask if they can confirm delivery on their end. If they have internal confirmation, they may be able to update it manually.
These steps usually help clear stuck tracking and release your funds faster.
