I got what I think is a scam email but I do not know how to confirm it and contacting eBay directly seems to be next to impossible. The following is the beginning of the email:

Hello, dear sgd1952!
We are eBay Support Team, and we want to inform you about update on your account.
We want to help you with purchase of your item. We noticed that there is some unusual activity on your account. To protect the security of your payment and your account, you need to complete a short verification process.
Please follow the link below to verify your account:
https:\\myebay.cyou:/tracking/ffcaoRA0J6vkfzL2
1. When I looked up this user I found that they are no longer an active account.
2. myebay.cyou is as phony an address as can be.
I do not what to just delete this but I want to report it to eBay to look into it. There was also a link to one of my listings saying I will not be able to sell item until I complete verification.
Has anyone else seen anything like this? Any suggests on what action to take?
Thanks - sgd1952

It is a SCAM. Do not click on any links and delete the email.
We want your journey here to be as great as can be, so we have put together some links to help you get quickly familiarized with the eBay Community.
