Poor shipping

I recently shipped out a package that was expected to be delivered on august 15th. It shows as arriving late with no new updates. Buyer is sending loads of messages saying he is going to leave bad reviews and how it’s my fault. I have no control over this. Is there anything I can do?

@frankiloiacon_0  Apologize to the buyer for the postal service delay.  Assure the buyer that they will receive the item or a full refund.   

Let them know that you are doing a lost package search.   Here's where to start one on USPS.

Keep the buyer informed on the USPS search.  

If they file a refund request for item not received then you need to refund before eBay steps in and forces one or you get a defect and you do not get your sellers fees back.    

Then you have to try and file a postal insurance claim if the package is lost.
