In 30 days, eBay has gone from my favorite place to sell and buy, to my least favorite, in fact, I am ready to close the account altogether.  I dislike the appearance of the "new" seller hub, having to scroll left to right is just one more annoyance to using their site, and now the "managed payments" directly into and out of my bank account is the last straw.  If they think I'm giving them access to my checking account, they are nuts.  I worked in banking for years and merchants depositing and withdrawing from a customer account was our biggest headache.  Don't give them direct access to your accounts, they will eventually screw up and cause you to overdraw and it's a nightmare to fix it.  Maybe if enough people complain about it, they'll go back to Paypal, which while it wasn't perfect, at least was a buffer and safety net between your account and eBay.
