Pay Now button not working!

Hi All, so my offer to purchase an was accepted late Saturday night. Sunday morning, I rec'd eBay notice to pay for item, which I tried to do. From my phone, each time I'd try to pay, I rec'd an "Something went wrong, please try again later" or "Item is no longer available". From my laptop, when I hit "Pay Now", new, duplicate pages that are exactly the same open up, but the payment would not process, wouldn't proceed, just the same "Pay Now" message. I chatted w/eBay Mon morning, and they said it had been happening to others, and to wait 24-48 hrs and try again. Meantime, the seller is contacting me for payment and I explained the issue. Wed all day, I've been trying to pay. Same issue. I called eBay last night, they looked into the issue, and said the seller had hit "Paid" on his end and that he should uncheck the button or I wouldn't be able to pay. The seller said he's done this. It's still happening, no matter if I try by phone, laptop, tablet. Has anyone else come across this issue? I'm about to call eBay again but I'm doubting this transaction will ever happen and we might have to cancel and start over again. Thanks in advance!

I have made a few payments this morning using a PC with no issues.  Try a different browser on a PC.

Pay Now button not working!

Nothing has worked , not a different browser or device. The seller canceled the transaction and resisted. Unfortunately he listed “buyer didn’t pay” as his reason, even though he had locked the transaction by marking it paid on his end, which is why I couldn’t originally pay. Of course, by canceling the transaction and listing “buyer didn’t pay” as the reason, that triggered an email from eBay admonishing me for non-payment, even though the person with whom I spoke at eBay said it wouldn’t cause some sort of black mark against my reputation/feedback after 25 yrs of being a customer (buying and selling). But still, it irked me that the seller couldn’t use some other excuse for canceling original transaction. Anyway, all’s well, and we were able to complete this second transaction. Thank you for your help, and I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else. Thanks again!
