Did you mean:

Package arrived with someone else’s name on it.

A seller was acting as a third party buyer.  They ordered from Walmart and shipped to my address in their name.  I thought the package had been delivered by mistake and returned it to my local Walmart.  I believe the seller got a refund from Walmart and I’m out $32 for not illegally opening mail that was not addressed to me.  eBay supposedly reviewed my case but I don’t think their AI understood my issue.  I have not left bad feedback yet…any advice from the web??

thanks

First try speaking to customer service and see if they can help -

To speak to customer service, use the link on the left side of this page “have us call you” - https://www.ebay.com/help/contact_us?id=4002&st=10

If you don't see 'have us call you' right under the chat link, click chat.  Then at the bottom of the chat topics, click more, then click contact an agent.

If they can’t help, contact your credit card issuer and ask them to open a dispute.  I would tell them that you feel you were the receiver of a purchase made with a stolen credit card, and returned the package to the merchant.
