Order Cancelled and Charged a Fee

I canceled an order on the same day of sale and was charged a fee by ebay. The buyer had already paid and was refunded automatically when the order was cancelled. Why was I charged a fee?

When cancelling a bid along with ending the listing early fees are charged as ebay does not think buyers are happy when sellers do this.
