Offensive language policy

I have had a message blocked from being sent (by a computer algorithm that has no concept of context) because some of the words contained in the message “could be considered offensive”  by the recipient of the message. My message was sent to a seller who has obviously taken my hard earned money from my account but has provided me with an invalid tracking number and refuses to refund my money. I find THAT offensive as well as criminal and this seller has been allowed to do that to me but I am denied from stating my opinion regarding this blatant offense simply because a computer mistook the definition of an anatomical feature for a possible offensive disparagement?!? Perhaps next time I should use a more clinical term. But I’m not sure if the word used to describe the orifice at the posterior end of the colon is concise enough. What do the rest of you hard working people think about this overly liberal attempt to prevent anyone from getting their poor little thieving feelings hurt by a sixth generation Army combat veteran who offered his life to protect the feelings of a person who rewarded him by stealing his money and is laughing in his face while doing it because nobody who has the authority to rectify the injustice has the moral fiber to stand up and take action to ensure that he is held accountable for his actions and punished accordingly. When I took the oath to protect and defend, I took it for everyone. And yes, that includes the person who stole from me. Still think he should at least have the opportunity to read my message and then decide for himself whether or not he considers it offensive. If he does, then good! Because it was intended to be!!!! GOD BLESS THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!!!! And may he bless all of you too!

You acknowledge that you intended the term in question to be offensive, so the computer did not make a mistake.  You have one sentence regarding what I gather is non-delivery of an eBay item.  The rest of the very long posting is a rant about not receiving the respect you expect as a veteran.  Okay, consider yourself saluted.  Please excuse the unintentional disparagement if I mistook you for an officer.

Getting back to the relevant subject, can you elaborate on that invalid tracking number.  If you actually want help here, we need details.  The seller might refuse a refund, but eBay is heavily weighted in favor of the buyers.  It is possible to get eBay to force the seller to refund.  But you have to tell us what happened.  Try to be concise.
