Number in parentheses?

Dumb question…what does the number in parentheses next to my user name mean? Thanks!

Number in parentheses?

That is the amount of feedback you received.  Click on to see it.

That is your "Feedback Score" which is calculated by counting the number of positive and the number of negative "Feedback Ratings" you received from your trading partners (ratings from the same partner for items purchased/sold the same week only count once, hence you have 26 positive RATINGS but only a SCORE of 13), subtracting the negatives from the positives (buyers can only get positive ratings) for the entire time the account has been opened.  You also have a "Feedback Percentage" calculating the percentage of positive ratings in the past 12 months only (same exclusion of multiple items in the same week from the same seller).  Neutrals don't count in either.  Since buyers (only) cannot receive negative ratings their percentage is always either 100% (if they have received ANY feedback in the past 12 months) or 0% (if they haven't).

@nap-274

Just a little bit more information...it is the amount of positive feedback you have received. If you received multiple feedback comments from the same member within 7 days, it is counted as only 1 feedback in your feedback total. That is why you will see that you have received 26 feedbacks but your feedback score is 13. If you were to receive a negative feedback (hopefully not!) it will be subtracted from your feedback score.

Hope this helps.
