No response

There is an item listed on Ebay that I would like to buy.  It's listed at a reasonable price.  I tried several times to contact seller for more info but no response.

Did a google search for a similar item alsewhere and I see the exact same item (along with the same pictures and description) from 2 other websites that listed it for about half the price (obviously scams sites).

The Ebay seller did not include a phone number in the listing.  Is there a way to get ebay to contact the seller and remind him to check his messages and respond to me?

If a seller will not respond to a question that might result in a sale, that is probably a sign that the seller will not cooperate after a sale, either.

You may be better off finding another seller.

Thanks for the reply eburtonlab.  That was my thoughts exactly.  However the item is used and available no where else. 

I was thinking of just paying for the item and if no response still, let ebay contact him.  They have a phone number probably.  If that doesn't work, there's always reimbursment from paypal.
