Negative feedback

I left negative feedback for a seller on a recent order, but it doesn't show up in their feedback.  How does that work?  It was not nasty, but it was important information for future buyers.  Are they able to choose only positive feedback to show up in their ratings?

Did you file a case against the seller and lost?  If so, neither of you can leave feedback, so that may be why it was removed.  If that was not the case, did you mention filing a case to get your money back?  You can't mention filing a case in feedback.
