My first sale- couldn’t ship

I sold my first item on eBay- a bike rack for $20. When I went to the post office to mail/ship it they quoted me $156. I couldn’t afford to pay $156 for shipping a $20 bike rack. I emailed the buyer but don’t know what to do next. Please help.

You can cancel the transaction. Reason to choose: out of stock. That leaves you with a defect which will stay with you for a year.
