My buyer filed a dispute with credit card co stating item wasn’t as described.

It was damaged with po and I filed a claim. Then po requested contents to review. He said he took to po as i recommended but has no paperwork. They denied claim because of time. Now ebay has sent notice funds on hold, I have tried to challenge but now eBay is having technical difficulties to download pics..very frustrating..customer service not to worry about dispute because it’s not a case. Is this true. All conversations are documented but eBay sometimes is difficult with policies. Help please.

You owe the buyer a full refund.  He did not have to wait for the usps claim, which reimburses you - you should have refunded him after getting the proof of damage.  He might have been more helpful with the inspection.

Challenging the dispute will cost you an extra $20, so if it was me, I would select refund buyer and be done with it.

You should have refunded the buyer first.

There's nothing to challenge. Buyer received a damaged item and you didn't refund.

Have a great day.
