My account is restricted with no way out

My account was restricted because I had to cancel some transactions in July 2022 for being out of stock so it was graded "below standard". Through their automatic messages ebay tells me that in order to bring my account to the standard (2.0 % defect rate or less") I have to sell more. But I can not sell more because ebay only allows  385 active listing on my account even though I am paying premum store suscription on an anual basis .  Also I can not sell more because my listing have lower placement in the search results due to my acconut being restricted.

My account entered a vicious cycle where there is no way out and ebay is not helping. Meanwhile ebay is charging the whole premium store suscription fee

@mathven-usa   I would cancel the store subscription.   You do pay a fee for early termination if you are on an annual contract but depending on how many months you have to your renewal date this is the best option for you.

Then only keep 250 items active.  You get 250 free listings a month.     Any listings you end will stay in unsold for 90 days.  

Then I recommend using some of your 250 listings for cheap items that you sell at or below cost.   For example I lost my TRS+ rating due to a postal mistake so I sold some DVD's I had on penny auctions.  I lost money on those sales but I got my rating back up quickly.
