Multiple Item Purchase Shipping Costs

I have customers that purchase multiple items and request adjusted shipping costs.  How do you handle/adjust the shipping for such requests?  Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

If the buyer is using a desktop computer, and uses the ADD TO CART option, once shopping is done, the seller can then click REQUEST TOTAL.

Add all of the items into your shipping container, weigh it, and then determine the shipping cost.  You can then go to the Order,  click the down-arrow, select Send Invoice, and enter the price for shipping.
