Miscalculating items left when selling variations

Has anyone had problems with eBay miscalculating quantities when someone purchases multiples and you still have more left? Twice we've had purchases where the listing showed more than we had left after a purchase.  It could be our fault but when we do these kind of listings we count and recount and document.

No problems that I've had or heard of on my other selling account.  Of course it does not adjust for any cancellations or returns.
