Messages - Drafts if not able to send?

I typed a long important message then when I tried to send I got a page that said Can't find what you're looking for. Are messages auto saved in a draft area? Is it really gone for good?

Sorry, don't think there is any draft folders for messages.  I have learned that even posting here on the boards that if more than few paragraphs to do an occasional copy to the clipboard.

It's really quite unacceptable. Maybe eBay could get away with overlooking the details that matter to sellers for a long time but there are options now. I don't want to start over elsewhere and have a real joy selling here and talk up eBay to any and everybody. I just wish they were more on the ball - like I want to be with my sales this year. I agree with typing elsewhere and cut and paste but sometimes forget. Sorry to vent..
