If you check the bid history, most of the above face value bids are from zero feedback accounts.

I doubt the seller will actually be paid that much for what appears to be an otherwise unremarkable gift card.

Gift cards are only allowed to be sold by authorized accounts; the likelihood of someone getting scammed on an individual seller's personal gift card transaction is very high.
