When you print the label, you are paying for the shipping. The only cost is the shipping - there is no service fee for creating the label.
If the shipping is costing you more than you charged the buyer, then something is wrong. Are you specifying a flat rate (same cost to everyone regardless of where they live) or calculated shipping?
