I'm a Top Seller on Ebay but I only sold one platinum ring since they require authentication and it failed. It was 10% IRID PLAT. Perhaps it had been sized long ago (it was an antique) and that affected the sale. The fail was only that the metal didn't match with the description. How do I now list a ring that is marked 14K and is a large Oval Amethyst surrounded by diamonds. Do I need to make the description vague? I intend to get an appraisal on it so perhaps that will help but I don't want it to fail if I list as the appraisal states. Any suggestions please?
