Item tracking not updating.

I've shipped out a few sports cards recently, some in a plain white envelope with little to no difficulty.  However I dropped off 2 at my local usps hub on Wednesday 1/31, and still no tracking or origin scans on these 48 hours later.  Should I be concerned?  Both orders I dropped off that day are having this issue, but all others dropped off have atleast an origin processing scan within 24 hours of drop off at usps.  I am concerned because it says I still haven't shipped these items, even though I do not have them in my possession anymore.

If you are using the ebay Standard Envelope, those tracking numbers are read by the sorting machines at the various sorting hubs, which is why they cannot be too stiff as they need to wrap around the sorting machines as they pass through.
