Item never shipped

I ordered an item on January the 9th and a shipping label was created, but it was NEVER sent to the ups facility to be shipped. I tried sending them messages and no response ever.

Sorry your purchase didn't go smoothly. Here's how to get your money back.

Look for the last estimated delivery date in your purchase history. You can file a refund request when the item is at least a day late.  If tracking shows movement I recommend waiting a week or so for postal service delays.

You have 30 days from the last estimated delivery date to file a refund request on eBay.

4 business days after you file the refund request ask eBay to step in and help if the seller has not refunded you.

If it is more than 30 days past the last estimated delivery date then you can file a refund request on PayPal up to 180 days from the date of purchase. OR if you didn't use PayPal at checkout contact your bank or credit card to report that you didn't receive the item.

Check your purchase history for the last estimated delivery date for the item.  eBay cannot help you until this date has passed by at least one day but not more than 30 days.

If you are within this time frame you can open an "Item not received" case and the seller must prove with tracking that the item was delivered or is still in transit.  If they cannot do this within 72 hours then you would win the case once you "Ask eBay to step in".

Well, ebay said to give them till the 21st of this month and today is the 21st. I can't seem to get anywhere with ebay--they make it so difficult with that automated system and no REAL way to contact a legitimate person. I don't do paypal--I paid with my debit card. Just wondering how to get that 100% money back guarantee ebay flaunts. Banghead

Ok, I'll try again maybe tomorrow? I mean, if they would at least deliver it to the ups facility to be shipped I would be happy, but it seems like they are either sitting on it, don't have it to ship or something has happened to them because I have sent them many messages with no response. I hope they are alright. It's the liquidation center out of Texas.

It sounds like you already filed a refund request for an item that has not arrived? 

If so then that means you can ask eBay to step in and help tomorrow.   

How to ask eBay to step in

1. Find the item in your Purchases.
2. Select See request details (if your item didn't arrive) or See return details (if you're trying to return an item).
3. Select Ask eBay to step in and help.
4. Select a reason from the dropdown menu, then select Confirm.

OR if you have not yet filed the case then select report that the item has not arrived from your purchase history to start the refund request.
