I have had a couple postings/listings of mine that included custom lego minifigures as being counterfeit. The first time I let it go since it was smaller amount. However, recently I had a listing that included 4 custom minifigures taken down due to claims of being counterfeit.
The minifigures and listing included the collectors cards from the companies they were made from. A Thor made by Feelings. A Iron Man/infinity gauntlet made by Minifinity. A Thanos made by UG. And a Captain America made by Warehouse 8. These are all brands known within custom minifigure community. I purchased two of these figures on ebay itself from other sellers.
When flagged as counterfeit the customer service refused to identify which figure was deemed by their experts to be such. I would never intentionally sell counterfeit items and honestly am not even profiting off of any sale in terms of what I paid versus what I'm asking or hoping to recoup. But I did ask for clarification on which ones were flagged as counterfeit? It's possible someone did counterfeit them and sold them with counterfeit cards and everything. But I have etsy chats with guy from minifininity bricks.. and records of buying the thor and thanos on ebay... The customer service rep refused to give me any further information. For the collectors - these are not insignificant figures or of potential value and to have all 4 be told are flagged as one and no further information is ridiculous to me. I'm wondering what people do in these situations? The Warehouse 8 Captain America is the most "suspect" I suppose. But even that is uestionable. Same website I've purchased other minifigs from and sold...
It just feels downright unhelpful to me and community at large for Ebay's experts to deem the listing as counterfeit, have no appeals, let alone explanation process. Does anyone have any advice or ideas on what to try? The thing is I wouldn't ever sell or even give away counterfeit ones. But I had no reason to believe any of them were and no reason to know which ones if any are.

To be honest, it really doesn't matter if you think they are not counterfeit. If eBay removes a listing, you need to take heed. You are now on the radar and if you list them again, you could face suspension or worse. These are rules we all have to live by. Find something else to sell.

That probably explains it.
If they are not made by LEGO, they are not LEGOs.
