I have been trying to buy from the seller below.

When I try to add an item to the cart, I can the following error.

Item: https://www.ebay.com/itm/133945015708

"We ran into a problem and couldn't add this item to your cart. Please go back and try adding it again."

Any ideas?

I had no problem adding that item to my cart.

Can you use the "Buy it now" option on the item page to make a purchase that way?

Have you dealt with this seller before?

I tried that and it did not work. I have purchased from them previously.

I did contact them and they did not see an issue on their side and said to contact eBay. I tried, but there is not an easy way to get a hold of them.

What exactly happens when you try to use the buy-it-now link? Is there an error message?

Is it possible that the seller has blocked you, or changed buyer requirements so that you do not qualify to make a purchase? Not all sellers are willing to admit that, it seems. Or the seller may not actually know or understand the details.

If the problem occurs with other sellers, there might be an issue with your account, but if the problem is only with this seller, that indicates the problem is on the seller's end.

Beyond that, all I can suggest is to try another browser to rule out browser issues.

Try another device to rule out device issues.

Try another network to rule out network issues.

Try making your purchase on ebay.ca instead of ebay.com to rule out site issues.

None of that will matter if you have been blocked by the seller, though.

Or find another seller to purchase from.

You can try to contact eBay through the Help & Contact link below, but I do not know if this is the sort of problem that customer service can help with.

Well, it looks to be an issue with the US site, CA works fine. Good to know.

Every once in a while I run into a problem with an eBay feature that seems to work better on ebay.ca for some reason. Sometimes the problem is with leaving feedback, or reporting an item, and if it will not work on ebay.com, I sometimes try on ebay.ca and find it works.

No idea what the underlying problem might be in each case -- possibly it was a just temporary problem -- but it is nice to know that there is a fallback option that can be tried if nothing else seems to work.
