Is there a way to not lose money on a return?

I think anyone who has been on here long enough has probably noticed the decline in ebay support for sellers, as well as the increased coddling of buyers. Sellers are getting screwed. Is there anyway when a buyer lies about items not to get screwed, or, is this the new normal of ebay?

According to Ebay's Money Back Guarantee, the seller is required to provide a prepaid shipping label plus refund the buyer if the buyer files the "Item Not As Described/damaged" etc. dispute in Ebay's Resolution Center. No questions asked. It's not so new of Ebay policy.

Accept returns so buyers can pay return shipping.

Cut down on returns by giving a good description, with measurements and good photos.

When a seller doesn't take returns, buyers know they'll have to file an INAD to get their money back.
