Is ebays FVF still collected on cancelled orders?

Does ebay still collect it's final value fee from the seller, if the seller cancels the order?

FVFs are not collected until the buyer pays. If you cancel a paid order, your FVF is refunded.

Thank you for that --- I went to the cancellation page  --  https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/getting-paid/sellers-can-cancel-order?id=4136&st=10  --  ebay lists 3 reasons why you can cancel and of coarse,  in order to complete it,  you have to choose one,  however none of them fit the situation.   Down at the bottom you can request a phone call or enter into chat.  I'm thinking that would be the best way to proceed unless you may know of another cancellation method in which you can provide your own reason?  I'd be happy to know if there is one!   I will check this thread again in the morning.

There are only three option. Calling eBay won't help you as you must choose one.

• If the buyer asked for the cancellation, you choose that one.
• If the buyer asks you to change the address, or you don't ship to the buyer's country, or their is a problem with creating a shipping label and you can't reach the buyer, you choose that one.
• If YOU want to cancel the order for any reason, you choose the one for item out of stock or damaged.

If you are having trouble deciding, post back with the reason and we can help lead you to the appropriate option.
