I just received a message from a buyer attempting to purchase one of my items, and he informed me that eBay told him "Unfortunately, this seller won't ship this item to Gifu, Japan" even though I am opted in to International shipping and just shipped a different package to Poland last week. Any ideas?

@autonutt I am not sure what is making the bots block this listing. Sometimes changing the title works. Try just " 7 Subaru brochures" for the title.
Otherwise you might have to direct or self ship to the buyer. Depending on weight Pirateship.com simple export rate has good prices. It is also a forwarding service so goes to a US location and then to the buyer. You do have to purchase the insurance if wish, as it doesn't come with insurance.
I did check this morning since I am on my computer ( can't really check other locations on my listings from my cellphone) and like you said the other items are the same category and item type and DO have shipping to Japan.
This is the only way to contact the eBay International Shipping Program team to see if they have a different suggestion. ebayinternationalshipping@ebay.com

@autonutt Not all items can ship to all countries due to import restrictions, eBay also has category restrictions.
Does Japan show on the list of countries you ship to for the item? You can share the item number?

Oh, and to answer your other question, all my items are the same type of item and are using the same category.

Thank you. Before reading this I found a way to get around the eBay chatbot and ask for an agent, who called me back within a minute. After studying the item details, she suggested that the term "Lot" might be flagging the item for international shipping, and once I changed it to "Collection" the item was indeed eligible. Wish I had seen your response earlier, but you were definitely on the right track! Thanks again for your help!
