Ebay/Google has a IP address malfunction every time my IP address changes. They claim they are protecting me with this login malfunction but I know it has nothing to do with them helping me. The thing is I shut down my router and ONT box when I go away and also when the trough put speed from my service providers server connection becomes slow which is fairly often. Does this happen to VPN users as well?
Generally, if you change your IP-address (which may happen when you shut down a cable modem if your provider uses dynamic addressing), then the next time you go to eBay (or other sites) you will have to sign in and go through verification again.
So this sounds like its really about ebay/google having my IP and cell phone location and not about me securely logging into my account with my personal security. 🤔 And they want my bank account and routing number as well? Its not the good old internet anymore just a commercial tracking platform.
