I was charged 3 times for one transaction I contacted the seller they said get with eBay but I can’t find any phone number to speak with anyone from there?

I have seen complaints about double charges, where one charge is actually a payment hold that goes away eventually leaving the money in the account.

If you see three identical charges, check to see if one is actually a credit; sometimes a double charge is caught and immediately credited.

If you used a card, an eBay purchase might take the form of three transactions:

1) a hold is placed on the funds (no money is taken, but available funds decrease).

2) the payment is processed (money is taken).

3) the hold is released (a reversal of the hold amount).

All three transactions are the same amount. Look closely at the reason for each and look for two debits and one credit. If unsure, call the bank or card company for clarification.
