I sold an ipad gen 4

Sold it unlocked. Buyer says its locked; check my icloud no devices found.  Buyer returns the ipad locked, with a message on the screen ipad is locked by iphone thru find my ipad.  I do not use Apple devices. What recourse do I have

@kaiser11   You need to refund the buyer if the find my iPad was turned on.   You should have reset the iPad to factory settings before selling.

Your only option now is to refund the buyer.   Then take the iPad to an Apple Genius store for help so you can sell it again.

@kaiser11   Report the buyer for abusing the eBay MBG:   https://spd.ebay.com/RBASellerHub

Then you can try to appeal the case.    eBay does usually side with the buyer though.
