Sorry about the return label customer sent the item back to me he has the item that he purchased and eBay has my funds on hold how do I rectify this

If the buyer filed the Returns Request, you approved and supplied a prepaid return shipping label, once tracking shows DELIVERED, you have 2 days to refund the buyer.  You then relist the correct item for the buyer to repurchase, and you ship the correct item to the buyer.

Since it appears you did not do the above, go ahead and relist and have the buyer repurchase and pay.  Then you go to the sold item, click the down-arrow, select Mark as shipped, and upload the tracking for the label you used when you sent the buyer the correct item.
