I purchased a phone that was locked by AT&T. Can I get a refund?

The sales post said (AT&T), but there was no explanation that it was locked or it has installment plan remained. ( like following)

I should have asked for sure, but there was no explanation that it was locked or still under the installment plan, so I bought it. When I turn on the phone, it said it is under the installment plan and cannot be used. The seller is currently trying to help through unlock third parties. i don't trust third party and i may cause the other problems. So, I asked the seller to contact AT&T and ask them how to solve this issue. And i also found out how to cancel the installment plan and sent the information to the seller.

i am afraid that If the seller says he will no longer help. 

I wonder if eBay can help me return the product and get a refund because it is different from the product description (there was no explanation that this product was under a locked or installment plan)

@seon7539   You should return the phone for a full refund.  The seller is not supposed to sell phones that are not paid off.

You have 30 days from date of delivery to file an item not as described refund request on eBay.

If you have to purchase a label at the post office with the funds that the seller provided be sure to upload the tracking number into the case. The tracking number is your proof of delivery.
Returns to countries that do not have 1st class delivery confirmation MUST be shipped Priority Mail.

thanks for helping me out.. i will wait until Monday. And i am going to ask seller pay off the debt or accept the return of the item.  i remove previous screen protector,  and i installed the new screen protecter and the camera protector on the item. should i remove this and reinstall the previous one even if it is not perfectly fit.?

@seon7539.  Don't let the seller stall you though as you only have 30 days from the date of delivery to file the return.  

I would remove any apps, covers, etc. That you added to the phone so it's returned in the same condition.

thanks for your time...  i will keep that in mind. i will just wait a week. then start return request ( i received it Nov 10)
