Fraudulent activity and an unpleasant buying experience. I believe this is illegal and it doesn't look well for EBAY to have sellers who hook and bait buyers then end 10+ listings with a low ball selling price but say "Item was Closed by seller b/c of incorrect listing information."
Okay. I can buy than once or twice, but this person had a dozen or more Ebay offerings that were anywhere from $3 up to $8.00 that I saw b/cause I was looking at all the offerings. [I'm disabled, live on a fixed income and shop all year for Christmas] I was in the middle of "Buy It Now" when the listing disappeared only to be exchanged for the SAME LISTING but the price was now something like $18 + $ 18 shipping rate. This is just an example. I bid on one item and was waiting for the invoice and it never came. I was able to buy two items but got screwed out of two others. I was in the middle of a question about the item when it disappeared. When did Ebay start allowing for transactions to be terminated when an open question existed from a member? This is $#i& [pardon my French, but it is] I would like to discuss this with a LIVE person before I report this to outside agencies. I'm a buyer AND seller for 25 years! I have NEVER experienced this fraudulent practice, but I believe that it is illegal. I'd like to speak with someone today/April 25th. Thank you. P.S. I have several of the auction listings still open with the low-ball price then the new listing with the higher price. Please understand me. This wasn't a mix up where two items were tagged wrong. This was EVERY angel that was listed had low, low price on it & when I inquired about multiple purchase shipping discount—THAT is when the shenanigans began with the funny price switching!
