I need help with one year warranty under the ebay refurbished item/ asking ebay to step in

Hi I am not getting far with seller who is suggesting for me to contact manufacturer to which I have and they will not cover due to being refurbished item. How do I get eBay to step in when I no longer have the link to "return" where it will provide this option because it has been 4 month since purchase

eBay provides a 30-Day Money Back Guarantee.  They will not step in and help with claims that relate to a further manufacturer's warranty.  If the manufacturer will not cover it, you probably do not have any recourse except possibly through legal avenues, but you would need a lawyer's advice on that.
