I listed an item with free shipping, then I received an offer that includes plus shipping, what do I

If I accept offer which is $30 and has "+shipping" after it, on an item I listed for $39.95 with free shipping, what's going to happen? If he pays it only turns out to be a couple dollar savings because he is now paying shipping. If I still am still paying for the shipping I can't except the offer. Do I need to make him aware of the fact that his offer has attached shipping? Not sure what to do or how to best handle this. I haven't sold on eBay now for several years.

The '+ shipping' means shipping as stated in the listing. If the listing has free shipping, then the shipping is still free with the offered price.

eBay is trying to make it clearer that shipping is not changed in a best offer - it is for the item only. They need to make it clearer still 🙂
